Craig, originally from Leeds in Yorkshire, now living in Spreyton, near Exeter is a British Army veteran who served in the Army Air Corps for 22 years. Craig retired from active service in 2020 and, having learned how to turn his hand to fixing and building things while out on exercises, began his new career in property and ground maintenance.
Craig worked tirelessly through the pandemic, working in care homes where he built some of the first visiting pods, complete with Perspex windows and two way microphone systems, allowing elderly residents to see, hear and speak to their family members in complete safety.
After the pandemic Craig also worked in care homes and supported living for young adults and children with learning disabilities, completing general maintenance and statutory checks. Craig also built bespoke furniture, added protective elements to the buildings while still keeping them homely.
Craig also worked in further education college for young adults with special educational needs, working alongside tutors and students on a daily basis.
In his spare time Craig enjoys flying drones, exploring VR, walking in the amazing Devon countryside and working on DIY projects at home. Craig is a father of four and a grandfather of two, despite being only 50 himself.
